Payment to Other Banks
This screen allows you to make a payment, in any currency (other than Ruble). If the payment currency is EUR, the amount is less than EUR50.000 and it satisfies the SEPA requirements, you have the option to initiate the payment from the ‘Payment via SEPA’ screen for lower charges.
How do I process my payment?
- From Account: Select the account you wish to debit from the dropdown list. Available balance is displayed for each account in the list. Once an account is selected, the current balance and available balance are also displayed.
- Beneficiary List: You have the option to choose a beneficiary already maintained by you from the dropdown list, in which case beneficiary details will be automatically uploaded or choose the ‘Once off beneficiary’ option and enter the applicable beneficiary details.
- Beneficiary Name: If ‘Once off beneficiary’ is selected, enter the beneficiary name.
- Beneficiary Address: Optional Field
- To Account/IBAN: If ‘Once off beneficiary’ is selected, enter the beneficiary Account/IBAN. In case IBAN is entered, the system will validate its correctness.
- Beneficiary Bank: If ‘Once off Beneficiary’ is selected, you have the option to enter the Beneficiary Bank details by either selecting SWIFT/BIC or by entering Bank Name and Address.
- SWIFT/BIC: In case a valid IBAN is provided the Beneficiary Bank's BIC defaults from the IBAN number provided. If for any reason, you wish to change this or if an account number is used, use the search button and select the desired SWIFT/BIC.
- Bank Name and Address: Enter the Bank Name and Bank Address.
For both options, you have the option to specify the national clearing code by clicking on the national clearing code checkbox. You will then have to choose the appropriate national clearing network and enter the national clearing code. - Intermediary Bank: Optional field.
- Transfer Amount and Currency: Enter the transfer amount and currency. In case an FX conversion is involved in the payment, an indicative exchange rate and an indicative equivalent amount will be displayed.
- Value Date: Default value date is the ‘spot’ date for this transaction. In case you wish to change this, click on calendar and select any date from today up to 12 months in the future. If selected date is not a working day, at submission the system will prompt you to change the date.
- Execution Date: Based on value date selected, the system will return the allowed execution date(s) for same day, next day and spot payment. If the cut-off for the payment has been exceeded, you will receive a warning and if you choose to proceed with the selected execution date, the payment will be processed by the bank on a best-effort basis. If you change the value date, please ensure that execution date is the one you want
- Payment Details: Enter a description of the transaction.
- Charge Whom: Select if you wish the transaction charges to be deducted from the Ordering account (OUR), the beneficiary account (BEN) or both (SHA).
- Attach Documentation: For compliance and legal reasons, supporting documentation for the payment needs to be uploaded if necessary. Allowed file formats are jpg and pdf. Maximum upload file size is 17MB.
- Receive Advice on Email: Check this box if you wish to receive the debit advice via email upon completion of the payment by the Bank. For your own security, some data of the advice will be masked.
- Submit: Click to submit the transaction. Once submitted, payment details as well as indicative charges to be debited (if any) will be displayed. You will be asked to enter your One-Time-Password, if required. Click to confirm the payment. You have the option to save the details of the payment as template for future use.
- Transaction Number and Status: The system returns a transaction number and status at the top of the page. Click on the transaction number to view updated transaction status and the transfer details. You can print or save the transfer information using
